THE NATIVITY OF OUR BLESSED VIRGIN MARY.

Today, the Holy Mother Church celebrates the feast of the birth of our Blessed Virgin Mary into the house of Joachim and Anne for humanity's good. The birth of our Mother Mary is not fully scripturally founded but it is what the Church Magisterium teaches us since every human being entered this world through birth. Although She is from a poor family (as the Church teaches), she is the GREATEST woman ever born on earth and she is equally BLESSED AMONG ALL WOMEN (cf. Luke1:42). She is the woman whom the Angel Gabriel called "FULL OF GRACE" (Luke 1:28) and whom Elizabeth honoured when She visited her.
Today, we celebrate the birth of the Mother of God and of Jesus Christ, the second person of the Trinity. If the Angel Gabriel could honour her, who are we not to honour her?
At the wedding at Cana, Mary's role of intercession was clearly evident as she facilitated the first miracle of Jesus. (John 2:1-5).

If you appreciate the gift of God through me and if you appreciate my lifestyle or if my way of life have touched or motivated you in one way or the other, then join me to celebrate my MOTHER. "Nne m Oyoyo", "Acharaugo Nwaanyi", " Kpakpandu nke ututu", "Nne m Oma". Join me to sing a melodious Happy Birthday to her. Words are immeasurably not enough to express who our Lady is to me. Thanks to God for the gift of the Rosary which is our powerful weapon of warfare.
Mama, as you celebrate your birthday, I earnestly pray that you intercede for me in the presence of your son. I beg you to forgive all those who have refused to honour you even when the bible stated it clearly that henceforth, " ALL GENERATIONS SHALL CALL YOU BLESSED" (Luke 1:48).
Finally, I pray that her birthday would give us the grace to imitate her holiness, simplicity, her love and obedience to the will of God. May she continue to intercede for us. Amen.
Friends, use the comment box to Hail our Lady in any language you know well. Who is our Lady to you?
Prayer: Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death Amen.
Happy Birthday Mary!
