Nelson Mandela once said “It always seems impossible until it’s done”. Today will mark a beginning of a new era in the history of democracy in Nigeria. Nigeria will experience a new set of administration since the inception of democracy. A new breath of fresh air is being blown into Nigeria today.
At first, it seemed impossible that an old fulani man, a retired general and one who was known for his strictness when it comes to discipline would finally overthrown an incumbent President (bearing in mind the power of incumbency in Nigeria) and finally emerge as the President of the Federal republic of Nigeria.
Listening to one of the local radio stations this morning, I was very glad and delighted on the comments made by different people from different tribes. One of them out rightly said “Am happy that Buhari finally did it and this means “more factory”, “more jobs”, “more industries”, “adequate security”, “reduction in petrol price”… etc. I asked myself, does this fellow understand what he is saying? That Buhari is being inaugurated today doesn’t mean that he will perform magic in a couple of days. NEVER! All he can do is to simply start from somewhere and he will definitely end at somewhere.
Lets not quickly forget how the outgoing President started and how he is about to end. when he started, things seemed like Nigeria was definitely in the good hands of a man whose name depicts Goodluck for Nigeria; but I can’t really say on what transpired in his 6 years stay in office, I rest my case.
Today everyone, Yes I mean definitely every bona fide citizen of this countries and beyond is happy on this historic events. Even the poor masses and the downtrodden in our society are happy because for them BUHARI will alleviate their problems and wounds, how this will happen is what i don’t know, but they are very very optimistic that it will happen.

I also use this medium to advice them incoming executives to beware of sycophants, those who will see to your downfall. PMB has a big task ahead of him but with perseverance and diligence, he will surmount all troubles.
